In concert with the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Procter & Gamble is proud to be included on the 18th annual list of America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs), the only national award honoring corporations for world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth for women-owned businesses.
"America’s Top Corporations know that stronger WBEs will drive new sources of revenue, deepen customer satisfaction, and generate a stronger economy," said Pamela Prince-Eason, President and CEO of WBENC, the nation's leader in women's business development.
As the only national award honoring corporations who choose to integrate policies and programs to enable growth and reduce barriers for women-owned businesses, Procter & Gamble is committed to increasing opportunity in markets – both domestically, and internationally; fueling innovation; and, empowering communities through economic growth and job creation.
“As we aspire to create a world free from gender bias and with equal representation for women and men, we have experienced firsthand the value of building relationships with women-owned businesses,” said Melissa Baker, Senior Manager of Supplier Citizenship and Innovation at P&G. “We are humbled to be named a Top Corporation for Women’s Business Enterprises, as the honor reflects our aspiration to create a better world through gender equality.”
Procter & Gamble was honored in front of an audience of more than 1,500 business leaders at the WBENC Summit & Salute to Women's Business Enterprises, which took place March 20-22, 2018 in Dallas, TX.
