Since the 1970s, P&G has been committed to growing and developing our business with diverse suppliers in the United States. When we invest with diverse suppliers, we not only strengthen our innovation and go-to market capabilities, but also touch and improve the lives of the women and men who work in these companies – and through them, their families and the communities in which they live and work.
While we are incredibly proud of our accomplishments – including spending more than $2 billion with diverse suppliers for nine consecutive years – we know we must continue to innovate and improve. Since July 2014, I have had the privilege of leading our Supplier Diversity program and learning from so many of our world-class external business partners. At P&G, Supplier Diversity is predicated on one very simple concept – creating value in our business and in our community. As we continue our journey, we are excited to work collaboratively with all of our internal and external partners to create true, sustainable value through Supplier Diversity. We hope our new website illuminates some of the great work we’ve been able to accomplish, and helps us to connect even better to create transformational value for our business and community.
